Plans and prices
- Free: browse prices at Coles, Woolworths and ALDI, and watch up to 5 items with a Wednesday roundup.
- Possum Plus Solo: A$2.99 a month, for you.
- Possum Plus Household: A$4.99 a month, for you and the people you invite to your household (up to 6 people, including you).
Plus adds unlimited watches, a morning roundup any day something you watch changes, full price history, hints on your lists, and Household features. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. What’s in each plan may change over time (see the terms of use).
Billing through Apple
Possum Plus is bought through Apple’s In-App Purchase and charged to your Apple ID. Apple handles payment, and Apple’s own terms apply to the purchase as well as these.
The free month
- New subscribers get the first month of Plus free, on either plan.
- Eligibility is decided by Apple. Introductory offers like the free month are available once per Apple ID for Possum Plus, so if you’ve had the free month before, you won’t get it again.
- If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the free month ends, your subscription starts automatically and you’re charged the monthly price.
- If you cancel during the free month, you keep Plus until the free month ends, and you won’t be charged.
Automatic renewal
Plus renews automatically every month until you cancel. Apple charges your Apple ID within the 24 hours before each month ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then.
Cancelling
- Cancel any time on your iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, then choose Possum. You can also get there from the Account screen in Possum.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Plus until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
- Deleting the Possum app, or your Possum account, doesn’t cancel your subscription. Only Apple can stop the payments, so cancel in Settings too.
Refunds
Because Apple takes the payment, refunds are handled by Apple. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue App Store refunds ourselves. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If something’s gone wrong, contact us at [email protected] and we’ll help.
Household sharing
- With a Household subscription, you invite people with a code or QR code. Invites expire after 7 days. Everyone who joins gets Plus while they’re in your household and your subscription is active.
- Members share the household’s shopping lists. Each person’s watchlist and alerts stay their own, and members don’t see your payment details.
- Only invite people you share a home or a weekly shop with. The person who pays can remove members at any time.
- If someone leaves or is removed, they go back to Free (unless they have their own subscription).
Switching plans
You can switch between Solo and Household in your iPhone’s Subscriptions settings. Apple decides when the change takes effect and handles any difference in price.
When Plus ends
If your subscription ends, your account goes back to Free. Nothing you’ve made is deleted: watches beyond Free’s 5 are paused, not removed, and they start again if you resubscribe. Household members go back to Free too.
Price changes
We may change Plus prices. Apple will tell you before a price increase takes effect, and where Apple requires it, ask you to agree. If you don’t, the subscription ends at the end of your current month.
